The Bolshoi would not be pleased—they all look so...different! Wink

A wonderfully unusual texture field. I enjoy all the curves against the increasingly dense straight lines; the open space at the front lower left, which gives me a way in and highlights one "soloist" who sets the theme. That, *and* the way the framing plays oblique lines against the vertical.

I can imagine you saying "it just felt right" when photographed, but it's fun for me to analyze why it works so well.

The toning is intriguing, too, with just a hint of gray-green instead of a more obvious brown or sepia. That sets off the snow nicely, and suggests to me life instead of "dead things".

Well, after April's comment, there's not much for me to add. I like the rhythm of row upon row of straight stems and the repeated pattern they form (that reminds me of a formation of soldiers on a parade or on a battle field). I like the tension between soft tones of snow and bold harshness of dark plants. Very nice.
