Interesting how that one tree dead center draws me into the scene instead of acting as a "stop".

I love the shadowy, misty depth, and the nearly burgundy tones which suggest the deep musky scent of a rich forest floor.

That oblique line against the verticals once again works so well in the composition.

One thing that draws my eye is the rounded shape about 1/3 in from the left on the bottom edge. I get distracted by wondering what it might be, as it doesn't seem to fit. (It almost looks like an animal.)

One suggestion that I can not get over, would be to try and crop this image differently. I tried to do that on my computer and I got the strongest effect when I cropped off about 1/5 of the width from both the left and the right edge. The resulting vertical image containing just the middle part has a radically different impact on my senses (much more dynamic). What do you think?

I love the way the lines move in and out some faded some strong as a vertical wave moving through the forest. I agree with april that round object does seem out of place and pulls your eye out of the picture. Other than that another captivating image.....
