Crawling and standing and falling; rolling over, exploring, and giggling!

I love the subject and colors in this image, the low point of view and tilt in the frame. It does such a wonderful job of conveying the delight of a child.

I agree with April. The scene conveys the atmosphere of a children's room very well and there is something special about those colors: they are bright and saturated, and yet, very pastel. Perhaps the reason is that the toys were photographed against the light whose quality was soft and diffused...

The light was from the window that is just behind the toys, but higher up, iso was set to 400 with aperture set to f/4. It seems that Sigma 17-70 is not such a bad lens after all Smiley.

That's an intriguing observation. As I try to find ways to push colors without "punching" them, it might come down to the light. Imagine that. Wink

But it may also be the specific quality of that specific lens... Or the combination of all those factors that I mentioned... Or maybe none of them at all?  Grin
