I get the purpose of using the mirror, but I don't quite see a logical utilization of it in this particular photo.

Maybe a different viewpoint, or depth-of-field would reveal to me a stronger composition. The way it is now, each and every element of the image is fighting for my attention and not cooperating with other details. Also, in my view, sharp and hard wooden parts are clashing with soft and silky wardrobe (although one could attempt to interpret that as a contrast between soft femininity and hard masculinity - but I wouldn't be the one who attempts that...  Cheesy )

Your association to the contrast between feminine and masculine is something I didn't originally see, but it's been mentioned on other forums as well! Perhaps it was an unconscious intention.  Wink

What I did intend was:

* The idea of peeking into someone's private life, including the medicine cabinet.

* The layering of concrete reality and suggestive associations.

What originally caught my eye was the reflection in the mirror, and I probably should have stayed with simply that (instead of conceptualizing).
