Hello.
This place is very beautiful, but actually the shot looks like a postcard shot. These people are making some disturbness...

I am impressed to see how much it differs, if one removes the people form this shot. The upper part is full of fresh, untouched, archaic beauty of nature. The sparkling water sprays, the nicely captured dynamics of the streams, the fresh green, the trees... so easy to feel the fresh breeze, the sun rays, to smell the water and the plants.

And then there are those humans having fun and enjoying the said beauty. Who can blame them? Yet, they add tension, disturbance, annnoyance even. It alters the scene so profoundly that it makes a bold statement here. I really find this very interesting.

As for the technical aspects, parts of the white areas in the water are too hot/burnt out, and that is a little set back in the nicely composed shot. I imagine how this scene would have looked in a bit later sunlight, and without the people around... but then, it would have become a totally different kind of a shot.

thanks for sharing.

cheers

Hmmm. Be carefull, when you crop from the bottom, you gonna cut that really nice bush in the water... I don't think cropping is really the solution here. Take your shot for what it is - and learn from the various feedbacks for a next time.

I would advise against cropping the people out of the picture. Without them, the image will become just another postcard, as Ernest observed.

The presence of people adds very important meaning to this image. Without them, there would be no questions in our minds. What are they doing here? Are they enjoing the nature or disturbing it? And, of course, are they adding interest to this photo or just distracting us from the beauty of nature? I think you've already decided unconciously that their presence is, in fact, important - by giving the picture a very telling title...
