Suddenly, they were here. Lots of them. And they stood in tight rows, with their "helmets" blocking the direct sight. I didn't even see if they have eyes or not...

Our eyes were fixed at the prize: the Earth and its 20 billion Earthlings that can be enslaved, farmed, butchered and consumed. Think of all that nutrition, the energy, the manpower, the lab experimentation...! And they are all OURS for the taking. They don't even look like they know what's in their future! Tongue

Thanks, eob. You and Ted should probably think about creating a space novel... Cheesy

I really have a weird reaction to this alien congregation that seems to be waiting for the tragic Bhutto explosion and at the same time overseeing the record breaking perfect season of the New England Patriots overcoming the Giants - for some sensational reason I feel eob's "enslaved, farmed, butchered and consumed" comment as a prediction of what was unleashed and burst through the confined "helmets" that confront us in habakuk's photo. Maybe just a distorted reaction to the worldly, week's/day events that have no conceived connection what-so-ever. A photo-prediction as such. Disturbing dismay.

Thanks for your comment. This photo sure is abstract enough that the viewer can put many personal thoughts into it... so it's no wonder that your past weeks experience has a big impact on how you interpret the picture. The nice thing about these pictures is that they seem to be able to change the mood entirely, if you look at them in a different moment of your life. I like that quality...

cheers
