for some odd reason, the first thing that struck me was the "HI!" or "HELLO!" from the early Dodge Neon Ads. Just this 'pop' suprising, but not startling "HERE I AM!" of a small child... I like it, it's just really cute.
hope that makes sense

Thank you, Drnged. I'd forgotten about those ads but...you're right!
Wish I could find a photo of them to be sure I've not plagiarized a memory. (No luck with a Web search.)

When I saw it, the photo reminded me of a little puppet stage with the daisy as a center of a puppet show (don't ask me why, 'cause I got no idea)... Actually, I suspect that I got that impression because of the specific positioning of the flower within black-background frame (low and center). Personally, I would probably choose a different cropping, but your way is refreshingly surprising to me and so it works for me that way, too.

Thank you, eob.
I tried many different compositions in camera, moving the flower left, right, into the corners, high low, big, little, quartered, half, full...
Letting it all sit a few days, this is the one that kept catching my eye on review.
I'm glad it works for you, too.
P.S. My mother used to have a puppet stage. I can "see" it, and know what you mean! A fun association.

hehehehe, no I don't think you've plagarized a memory normally they'd put the car in the ad in either a pasture with cows or some other flowers.

I think she was one of my first dates too many years ago. I recall her being both pert and impertinent but always set to giggle. Ah yes... I remember it well....

LOL. Seen in the RV place, enjoyed it very much, and now cannot do but second Ted and eob. I met her on a puppet stage indeed. I feel so closely related. And I feel so x-rayed... A great shot! cheers ®

Ted and Roland, I've neglected to thank you for your delightful comments!
They are much appreciated. I can only blame it on a head cold, which has seriously fogged my brain. Argh.
