Danger rocks. Ahhh? Does this mean "beware of danger" or more in the braveheart way "hey, danger rocks!" Huh Smiley
Hmmm. Here I have a hard time getting a message that has to do with aerials. I can hardly spot /identify the bird (duck?) - and my eyes really stick to the sign.

cheers

I have to agree. If I hadn't seen the entire series, or noticed the title, I don't think I would have recognized the (rather strange!) bird.

Ah. But what just occurred to me is that he does look rather like he's climbing over a sharp, pointed rock. Smiley Something of a trick, for a flying creature...

to me this lacks focus, to be honest. and it is tonaly flat, with a busy background.

it would have been fun if it said "DANGER ROOKS" and the cormorant sitting on top of the sign.

Do you look at or through a photo?

Darn... here I go again... The odd guy out...

This just makes me smile. I guess I could try to explain why, but you know when somebody has to explain the joke... well it doesn't work?

I've looked at it a bunch of times and every time, like now... I'm happier. That's a good thing, right? Grin

I should have bunched together all 3 'Aerials' to make the common elements more obvious. Well, only 2 of those 3 images contain that common element, which is the signage - and that's the whole point in this series.

The one central image containing the pure nature (Aerials #1) is just that: pure and natural, a harmony of shapes of living things. They complement each other. As opposed to those two other images, in which nature and human 'civilization' clash and make each other obsolete. To me, that kind of a confrontation has a multitude of meanings. One of them might be an uneasy humor or a parody. I'm guessing that that's what Ted observed above...
