Boys and girls, I'll be absent from the forum for about three weeks (vacations abroad)... I'll show up again after May 3rd.  Cool

Thanks, ilchkai! I hope I will have something to show afterwards. However, sometimes it takes me quite a while before I can get used to the idea that a specific photo should be posted for a critique or comments. More often than not, I start playing with ALL images from the shoot (or the trip) and then I choose one or few to do a special treatment on them. If I like results (or, if I am not sure of them), then I post them.

BTW, after I come back, I plan to rework some of those photos I already got a feedback for.

I'm out for now...

Dito. Enjoy the trip and don't forget to enjoy life outside the viewfinder. Wink

Looking forward to see some of the shots. If you can't decide, put up a gallery and pick just a few from there to post here. I for one will certainly visit the gallery and enjoy each one.

cheers

Do you look at or through a photo?

Enjoy and hey... don't forget to take a picture of a dollar bill next to a euro before it shrinks so small that you will no longer be able to see it  Smiley Hmmmm.... in fact, you'll probably need a macro lens to take the shot even now. Sigh....

Thanks, everybody! I'm baaaack!

This time around, I concentrated my picture-snapping on the 'old-versus-new' architecture of Warsaw. I wish I had more time for that, but I spent most of my time on meetings with my extended family and friends...

Once I select some shots worth showing, I will certainly share them with you.

Talking about priorities... you got yours right. Family first...

Glad to have you back. And I'm looking forward to see those selected shots!

Welcome home!

I'm looking forward to your shots, but mostly am glad you had that time to spend with your family and friends.

I'm also going to be away for the next 2 weeks, without 'net access.

We're heading into the North Woods of Wisconsin, with *nothing* to do but sit on the deck of a log cabin watching sunrise and sunset, canoe on the lake, hike trails in the woods, bike on the back roads, or kayak on the river. And cook. All with my camera, of course. Smiley

Hehehe. If we were to take *anyone* along on our rare getaways, it would be a fellow photographer... Someone who likes to be on their own for hours and hours at a time. Smiley

Thank you, Roland.

It is quite a contrast to have been out in those surroundings, and now back here in "cyberspace"!

Am still making the adjustment, but I'm delighted to see Fourth and Theo have joined and looking forward to catching up.
