Do you look at or through a photo?

There some kinda' vaguely patriotic story here, don't you think (maybe I'm watching too much of the John Adams HBO series)? Cannons, bursting bombs, tall warships, glaring rockets and maybe Lady Liberty encumbered and... and... Or? Hmmm... Here's a cure looking for a disease. I've got an illustration and no story. Anybody got the makings of an 18th century potboiler (or bodice buster) for this one?Smiley

Oh, and as usual, I've posted the originals for anyone who clicks here.

Oh, how the distress is visualized in this shot. The lines that shoot in any imaginable angle all over the shot are clearly talking about the thoughts that seem to be jumping inside her mind. Tight ropes around the thorax and the throat - the eyes pointing upwards - where the heaven is waiting. I'd be happy to see more dramatic colors in the background - supporting the effect of the lines. As you said, it feels like a picture from the end part of a long story - and I frankly have no idea what the beginning was. However, the picture is helping me to imagine various endings. And isn't this more important than telling the beginnings? Wink

cheers
