I am sitting on a bench, but my thoughts are fleeting away - to the times of long ago, to the places far away... I am here in my old age, but in my mind I am a young boy dreaming about looking at Machu Pichu from the neighboring mountain top.

I think this image has a quality of invoking imagination, reflection, deep thought, as well as sadness for a life passing by. In short - it is one of my favored images of yours, Theo.

This is very intriguing. I'm surprised Ted hasn't commented upon!

I like the way his "real" gaze is still a challenge to outward life, combined with the suggestion of so much life experience contained "inside" or within.
