That's a classic "habakuk"...

The minimalist composition works extremely well with this 'abstract' landscape. Very well-balanced positive/negative areas of color vs no color, texture vs no texture, solid vs transient and transitional vs sharply differentiated.

It would be interesting to compare this particular landscape to several different ones in a multi-image series based on the same approach.

Thank you. I noticed taking pictures of emptiness is pretty difficult... it's a fine line to keep them from being boring, meaningless. I had very mixed feedback for this shot, but I wasn't expecting anything else. I am quite happy there ARE positive feedbacks. And I think this shot also needs a proper surrounding and lighting and a decent size. I also thought about being bold in the color scheme and go for a more artificial coloring, but somehow, I couldn't find something that worked better than the original colors.

Yes, the balance of the two sides was a important aspect. It's not just that there is one arc, but there are two which sort of merge in the center.
