This is an intriguing image, Theo. The tunnel-like illusion pulls my eye into the center and around. But my eye does not find anything that could stop it, even for a while. Perfect image for a component of some more elaborate composite (where there's some point of interest placed in this tunnel/spiral), but on its own, it doesn't have a lot of an impact on me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and you made a picture of that. Wow! Smiley I love the way I see so many things without being forced to accept a documentary "reality" you force on me. Your shot gives me all the possibilities to pick up the metaphor of the eye and the world that seems to be reflected in it. And all of a sudden, i can't make a clear distinction between looking into the eye, and see reflections or looking through the eye and see the outside world.

How often do we find us in that very situation? Not knowing if we look at a reflection, which then is behind us, or look at a reality outside our own mind (and eye).

cheers
