Ha! Talking about explosive impression. This car front really pops up on me. It has a dream like quality, or like that sparkle of christmas bowls...  I find it interesting to see how this kind of postprocessing moves a cold technical shot into the realm of emotional response, how much I am now looking at this shot with the eyes of a child...

Somehow I would like to see the area of sharpness shifted slightly to the left. Maybe just a bit more space on the left would do already. High contast as always ... but I like the glow, the sparkle, the radiation and the toning.

cheers

In this case, the high contrast doesn't bother me. It is necessary to make the 'zoom-burst' effect effective.  Tongue

One thing I could suggest is to extend the bottom part to include the corner of that triangular pattern in the floor within the frame. I feel that that would provide a nice geometric accent (that is broken up in this version) and add some more negative space to balance the automobile.

Not "Christine". Instead, perhaps, her startled and more innocent sibling. Smiley

I never would have envisioned that such gesture/personality could be brought out in a photograph of a car!
