Ahh. Now this is way too tight for me. It's a pure confinment in a undefined white something. No snow for me. And without the snow (texture), the branch isn't working very well. I guess to see what you tried to achieve, but for me, it doesn't work.

I can see what Roland is saying. It's that one pocket of snow around the rightmost twig that makes me pause and think, "oh nice." Then  I enjoy the calligraphic lines leading up left.

As I travel back down, however, the subject is truncated in a way I find frustrating, and there is no more detail/form in the snow to further appreciate as I travel back around the scene.

I have to give you kudos, though, for taking the camera out on cross-country skis!
