I like the general composition, crop, balance of lights and shadows. Two minor complaints: that small blackish thing between the car and the right edge, and I would also like to see just a bit more color overall.

The hint of light is really working well here. Could be even stronger for my liking. Otherwise I agree with eob's asessment.

On a slight downward slope, a bush seems to take over the abandoned car. Talk about a strong metaphor. Cheesy

In composition, that downward slope contrasting with the straight foreground road reminds me of the tension created in Roland's recent  post "Tendencies".

This scene, on a winter's night with all the elements atilt, does not bode well for the farmer's future -- I fear.
