Now this one makes me dizzy and nervous in the outer parts, and once I fought my way into the center area, I am devilishly greeted by alien mouths! <brrr>. Other than this effect, it feels a bit too artificial to me.

cheers

By darkening the sky? I don't notice any other difference between the twigs on the two sides.

There's too large "noise-to-signal-ratio" for my taste. What I mean is, I see an extremely busy scene that does not depict much of a substance. Simplify... simplify... Tongue

No, I can't see it. But I do enjoy the idea of beating my way through the thicket to find something amazing within. And can appreciate how the harsh treatment creates a physical sensation as I view.

Do you look at or through a photo?

Normally I hate hate hate: mirror imaging and spot color. they are such cheeeep gimmicks I feel distracting me from any farther examination of the image. "POOOOEY!" I say.... "POOOEY!"

And then there's this.... break-the-damned-rules... idea. And it proves my oversimplification entirely wrong. Look... look what you've found lurking in there. What is the beast? We are hard-wired by evolution to see the predator in the reeds. Those who didn't... did not pass along their genes. Problem is we overreact. After all, it's better to see a beast in the pattern and be wrong, than to not see the beast in the pattern.... and be wrong.

So you've found it... or suggested it... or... maybe it lives in my imagination? And.. and... art without imagination is merely craft.
