Right, eob. It isn't a "nice" or peaceful shot for sure. That wasn't the intention anyway. It's part of the traces series and not all moments are full of hope...

It's simply dirt on a truck's side, inverted and colored.

The phrase "point confluence" sounds so scientifically objective -- shades of Tufte? -- and yet the content is so disturbing. As noted in your caption.

It reminds me of one evaluative question for a photograph: "Would you want to live with it?" Perhaps not; yet some must.

Sometimes I surprise myself... when I don't plan a shot and just let it happen, it is always a adventure to find out where it leads me to in the postprocessing. I fear, this one surprised me and so my conscious mind came up with a technical, un-emotional argument about compositional aspects... so I don't have to say how much this shot has spoken out deep feelings? As I said: sometimes I surprise myself. Smiley
