this image really unsettles me...

as per usual with your images: great, yet subtle, use of colour; and very, very, good composition.

yet, it is the composition which i find unsettling - the slightly off centre position of that-thing-to-which-all-roads-lead. most people would either centre it, or put it into the golden spot on one of the thirds - it being on neither is odd, and brave, and in this case i think it really pays off. although i do want to nudge it more to the right.

to me this shot has a feeling of a prince in the desert castle, with all tracks in the desert leading towards that center of power...

I like the composition and color point in the middle of "nothing", like in many other photos from you. It's your kind of "signature".

ha, the "prince in the desert castle" comment reminds me of your AMOS series... scaling things up and down at the speed of thought
