Love the colors in this one it makes me think of a cross section of the earth of years of sediment layer on layer broken only by the upperward thrust of the lines.

I see a border between a desert and a mountain range. But colors, although very attractive in themselves, do not convince me in the context of your title. I would go for more pastel colors and a little more atmospheric effect instead.

I often learn something new through your images, and that is fun.

Despite the literal meaning of the title, I'm much more "comfortable" -- feel more balanced -- viewing the image rotated 180 degrees.

Then, too, I imagine water in the foreground with a forest in the distance, and start to wonder about the fiery circumstance.
