Photography Madness

Wow what a massive view! I love it. Great light, nice "layers". Only one thing don't looks good i think - the dark "stain" in the left/down corner.

So strong! My first response yesterday was "wow". I'll try to be more articulate this evening.  Smiley

A spectacular moment, beautifully framed. Great balance top to bottom and left to right, along with intriguing depth front to back.

The way the "puzzle pieces" fit together and make such a powerful whole is a wonderful metaphor, I think.

Like Ernest, I am uncertain about the dark path leading in from lower left. That seems to suggest a different story than my overall impression of this image. I'm not sure personalizing it (assuming you darkened that area) -- along the lines of Frodo's passage to Mordor -- is necessary. But, I can appreciate the allusion to us tiny mortals amidst.

The dark patch in the lower left corner does not bother me at all, but I am a bit distracted by the tiny white patch of snow (or water) in the lower left quadrant, above that darker portion.

What impresses me most in this image is the depiction of weather rather than landscape itself. Dark, stormy clouds seem to almost smother those mighty peaks beneath them.
