The main interest of this composite seems to be the dramatic lighting that shows the "topography" of the body and the face. I like the effect of eyes drawing my attention. Also, normally, I am not very thrilled with parts of the figure completely blending with a background, but in this instance, the black hair being part of the black background acts as a natural frame for the body, which I like.

Yes, the main idea was to make a "dark" photo showing the shapes and lines Wink I tried to "fill out" the hairs from that darkness, but i had have one light more, to put it behind her, and flash at the background.. (unfortunately i have just 2 flashes)

In general, I like this photo better than the first one. Perhaps because the overall composition and the facial expression are stronger...

What I'm not very convinced about is the exaggerated contrast in the eyes. It looks a bit artificial, in my view. Another thing I would change (if I could Smiley ) is the color and intensity of the background. I think it takes a good portion of my attention away from the face. What I would suggest would be replacing that color with a less warm red (perhaps similar to the color of the lipstick or eyeshadow) and a bit darker one - in Photoshop.

This is bold! A deer in the headlights comes to mind.

Color is problematic for me, but I really like a quick test of conversion to b&w.

Then, too, the cropping which seems to separate her limbs ties (for me) into the idea of being hit by something.

My personal first choice is the b&w photo. The second choice is the last color photo.

Right with you on those selections, eob.

Although, there's something disturbing about her hand in the b&w. (Corpse-like?)

Those four poses with the girl leaning against or sitting by a fence are quite similar. I would choose just one and forget about the rest of them. As I stated before, I like the b&w photo the best. Which one is your favorite, Ernie?

Ernie, to tell you the truth, I think that this kind of photography (glamour) is a dead-end endeavor. No matter how hard you try to innovate, everything has been already tried. It gets boring quickly. This genre captures a photographer and boxes him/her up in a very tight formula that does not allow for a lot of creativity and/or artistry. I am saying this from my own experience, unfortunately. Perhaps I am lacking in imagination, perhaps I haven't tried hard enough, but I confess that the only satisfaction I've got from shooting glamour, has been the visual pleasure of dealing with beautiful girls.

I am not telling you this to pull you off and away from glamour photography. This is just a piece of "wisdom" coming from my experience. Use it, or ignore it.

Sure, everyone likes something different. I like this kind of photography, because it's dealing with beauty. I would like to show you couple links, these are "gurus" of glamour:
http://www.maxmodels.pl/wasiolka.html
http://hadriankubasiewicz.com/
http://www.wardziak.pl/
http://www.maxmodels.pl/fetish.html (- chociaż ten ostatnio odszedł od glamu i robi bardziej naturalnie)
etcetera...
Everyone has his own style, and developing glamour by a different techniques.
I am still learning to properly operate with light, then i will try to develop my own style. Maybe it's a long way for me...
