Generally, I much prefer the black & white part of this collection. Color is weird, oversaturated and it distracts the hell out of me (especially in the second series)... Post-processing of color shots is not too fortunate.

Some nice photo-journalistic work and some 'rubber-stamp' conventions. I can't comment further on wedding photography. Personally, I try to avoid doing this type of photography as much as I can. Hopefully, others will tell you more.

And I would love to give you some! But this presentation of a series of images all in one thread which I need to scroll down to view is not conducive to a thoughtful evaluation.

Please, pick a few which most intrigue or confound you, and post as a single or pair -- perhaps with a question of concern?

Though I have no experience with wedding photography, I can respond with what resonates or disturbs on viewing.

hehe but i treat all of these as a /once/ - as a reportage.
I think it would look strange if i would "cut off" some of this moments out.

Ah. So then, a link to some kind of "album view" might be ideal for evaluating the body of work as a whole.

Well, as a reportage, I think these two series are not very strong. They do show a chronology of preparations, the ceremony and the reception, but most photos are not very interesting for a viewer who is a stranger to the bride, the groom and all the guests. Photos need to engage the viewer on their own and work as single works, as well as a series that documents a chain of events.

My favorites are a couple of photos in the opening of the first part that attempt to set the stage for upcoming events - they engage my imagination and emotions. After that I feel a bit disconnected...

You have posted somewhere else 3 links to the sites of other wedding photographers. One of them (Jeff Ascough) does manage to take very emotionally engaging photos that not only work as links in the chain, but they are works of art in their own singular merit.
